love making the jewelries!

my friend mi'ilani brought her friend akiko to the store, so i did a mini cupcake wellness for her! i did a reading, a gemstone consult and made these pretty earrings (that we did a quick blessing and set our intentions on)! Love it!!

it's a dream come true for me, to have a bead store AND use all my skills and inspiration to design jewelry that is meaningful and carries the vibration of love and positive energy for that specific person!

i wish i could do this every day! in fact, i will make myself a bracelet for that VERY wish! let you know how it goes...

luv ya! jamie

cheech's heart

my lil' cousin, kristi, is a magician, and circus performer! she can do amazing contortions with her body, and swing on long pieces of material.. it's amazing!! her website is magicofkristi.com - go there and you can see HOW unrelated we are in flexibility and body strength and shape! ha ha! but i'd like to think, that's my potential!

i remember when she was little, her encouraging me to practice the splits. i shoulda listened!

i made her this heart necklace to send her some love! i loved it so much, i had amanda stamp me a bunch more for the store, and for ME :) want one? i'll make it for you - email me!

here's a pic of me and cheech, about 30 years ago.. do you love my bruce lee inspired glasses?

I Ching - wow!

actively practice innocence.

The I Ching - "book of changes" is amazing: here's what it's about - I'm typing straight from the inner jacket:

For centuries, the I Ching or Book of Changes has been consulted for sage advice at life's turning points. When its wisdom is sought with sincerity and sensitivity, this Chinese oracle will help to promote success and good fortune and to impart balance and perspective to your life. Its everlasting popularity lies in the lessons that it teaches about how to use your positive qualities in order to attain life's greatest rewards - prosperity, understanding, and peace of mind.

I used coins to divine some info about my recent hearing loss and to look into this turning point in my life. The message was strong, insightful and I stamped this part on my bracelet as a reminder.

Then i made a key necklace for me! The suede is so soft - like a teddy bear. When I wear it, it's just a reminder that i'm constantly unlocking new doors in my life, to new ways of thinking, welcoming new people and experiences - transforming!

Don't have a key to life necklace? Come in, we need to make you one too! i have earrings to match.. :)

luv ya, jamie

beautiful bracelets!

i love having "in-house" talented designers!! the other day, i said, "i wish we could have a small stamped bracelet as a pretty sample in the store". and wishes do come true! stamped and executed by the girls last week, i love it! look carefully at the 9:00 pm disc. I was so delighted, yelping, "rosettes, so cute!" michelle laughed and told me it was a snail. what we perceive as our reality is amazing, huh!

this was made very recently by lois in a custom herringbone class with me. i love how it stays twisted! we went a little too far in length, so instead of using a clasp, we made it a "roll-on" claspless bracelet - so awesome! creativity is always spurred by necessity, and i love it when it has the chance to happen!

i am loveable and capable...

i am loveable and capable. that is a phrase that jason learned in 2nd grade and something he reminds me of quite frequently. in turn, i try to send this message out as much as possible, it's so simple and makes me happy! michelle stamped it beautifully on this pendant - i love it!

this is my BE bracelet. i thought about all the things i want to BE on a daily basis... whew, it's amazing there's time for t.v. and snacks, huh! i'm currently addicted to the re-runs of numbers.

gotta jam, there's an episode on my tivo and i want to drill a big hole in a piece of apatite. i have an idea, and if it comes out, you'll be seeing it here!

take care, breathe, and if you are having any negative thoughts for whatever reason, just think that i am sending you a drizzle of pink hearts all over your head at this very moment!
bye bye!

1, 2, 3 breathe!

whipped out this bracelet last night.. was a stamping machine! haven't stamped in MONTHS, so it took a while to get into the groove, and once i did, it was fun!!

we will be having a metal stamp rental program coming soon (michelle working on it), so that you don't have to invest thousands to have access to a whole bunch of fonts!

just thinking about stamping the silver discs.....so much fun - and i picked words to remind me of what to do, in order to be present, throughout the day. I was SOOOO happy when i linked it together with the gold jumprings and it fit me JUST right - sigh........

have a great day, and remember to breathe. luv ya, high five!

harmony

my simple little straight strung bracelet, composed of crystals rainbowing from pink to brown. michelle "donated" her stamped charm to my efforts - completing, what i think, is now the perfect little package of sparkles and spirit.

mark your calendars for the last day of september! we're going to have a custom stamping event at the store, where you get to design a necklace that will bring you peace, love and harmony - and we do all the work! and there's gonna be cupcakes!

loving you too! jamie

cuffcake!

i made this in a custom cuffcake class with jason!! my favorite teacher and btw my favorite husband!! i sat next to amanda, who did a good bit of filing for me, and michelle stamped my secret words on the inside. then when i got distracted by customers, jason finished hammering it out. so hmmmm, did i make it?? OF COURSE :) i put the leaves on!

it was so much fun, i can't wait to make another! i hope that amanda is in my class again - grin!

this is baby lanette or "babette", the creator of the cuffcake!! she was a lot younger in this photo :) stop by on a friday, and you can meet her in person. she makes AWESOME jewelry.. look she's already holding chain nose pliers in this photo!! just kidding.

this is lanette and amanda circa 2009.. without them i wouldn't be wearing my cuffcake today.. thank you!
